Logan Palmer is the Marketing Coordinator here at Payscape. She has been with us since 2014, and she loves it! At Payscape, we want all of our friends, clients and partners to know who we are and what we do. So, grab your coffee or tea and get to know the real Logan.
What does an average day look like for you?
Wake up, eat breakfast & then get ready & go to work. My work day varies from planning & running events, creating creative content, writing press releases & lots of other fun stuff! No day is ever the same, which is why I love it. After work, I'm either at the gym, playing softball with the Payscape team, or having a dinner/wine night with my girlfriends.
Why did you choose Payscape?
The vibe that I felt when I first came in for my interview was awesome! It seemed like such an innovative company that was so open to experimenting with new ideas. That's exactly what I wanted. Also, everyone I talked to seemed so genuine & cool. I knew it would be a good fit!
What is your favorite part about working at Payscape?
My co-workers! I am obsessed with them. We all have such great relationships & do so much together even outside of work. They're like my second family! Also, I love how Payscape plans lots of outside-work activities; whether it's a volunteer day or a trip to play laser tag, the team outings show that we're all appreciated for our hard work, which helps bring us closer together.
What is the most rewarding and exciting part about your job?
The fact that they give you the independence to carry out your own ideas. For example, they let me take on the marketing events for all the local offices which had not been done before. I had to come up with my own strategy and create an organized plan for tracking the success of each event. It's been the most rewarding feeling knowing I put a plan together on my own that has proven to be successful!
Describe your best Payscape moment?
When I found out that I was getting promoted! I'll be doing more with our bank partnerships team which will bring on lots of new responsibilities. It's the best feeling knowing that your hard work is paying off!
Can I share my worst with you as well? I had just started at Payscape and volunteered to play in a softball game. First at bat for the team, I hardcore tripped face first into first base and rolled a few times. Pretty embarrassing.
What advice would you give to someone who wanted to work for Payscape?
Do not be afraid to bring new ideas to the table!
When you are not working, what is your favorite past time?
Being on the water! I love fishing!
There you have it. The real Logan. The water loving, fish catching, hardworking, friendly face-planting Miss Palmer.
