All proceeds to benefit the The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA - May 23, 2019 Payscape, an Atlanta-based financial technology company, will host its 7th annual Glow on the Green charity golf tournament at North Fulton Golf Course in Chastain Park on September 12th, 2019. The event combines a night-golf scramble with a clubhouse party complete with live music, food and drinks. All proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA).
“Glow on the Green has been a perfect platform for Payscape to utilize our relationships with partners and vendors while also supporting our community,” said Jeremy Wing, chairman & co-Founder at Payscape and board member at BGCMA. “The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta are a great asset to this amazing city. I am proud to serve as one of their board members and am thrilled that Payscape has this opportunity to raise money for their cause.”
The idea of a glow-in-the-dark golf tournament was first thought of in 2012 as a way to encourage donations to some of Payscape’s favorite non-profit organizations. Glow on the Green quickly became a centerpiece of Payscape Pays it Forward, one of the company’s key initiatives. Since its inception, the program has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations and has accumulated countless volunteering hours.
“We are so grateful to have the support of companies like Payscape behind the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta movement,” said Emily Carter, vice president of resource development at BGCMA. “Donations from Glow on the Green will have an enormous impact on the lives of the deserving youth we are privileged to serve. Payscape’s generosity helps us to continue providing programming and experiences that will help Metro Atlanta youth become college and career ready, develop healthy habits, and grow as community leaders.”
